Avalanche training, in Kimberley BC on the Ski hill. The classroom day will be on Saturday in person in Marysville. The cost is $375+GST per person. The field portion will be at Kimberley Alpine Resort by lift access, no additional cost for lift tickets.

You will learn how to use your avalanche equipment, understand basic avalanche formation, learn how to identify avalanche terrain, how to navigate the Avalanche Canada resources so that you will know what hazards are out there before you go, and you will learn how to create a trip plan to be better prepared for the unpredictable backcountry environment.

We have options for all skill levels whether you are a beginner wanting an exhilarating mountain experience or a seasoned rider who wants to be led deep into the trees, we have terrain for all types.

Each group will receive a tailored experience for their own needs. Our friends at Ghostrider Motorsports can provide snowmobile rentals that are delivered to the riding area for you, so you don’t have to worry about those details.

We are happy to also arrange your accommodations if you would like that service.

This Avalanche Skills Training Level 1 (AST1) course will be located in Cranbrook and Kimberley. The classroom portion held on Saturday at 9am, will be at the Ghostrider Motorsports dealership in Marysville (1142 204th St, Kimberley BC).

The Field portion will be located at the Lumberton Snowmobile riding area and will begin at 9am on Sunday. Club members receive 15% off the $375.00+GST, price of the course.

The classroom day will be on Saturday at 9:30am and located at the Creston Chamber of Commerce and the field day will be on Sunday at 9:30am the Char Creek riding area. Club members receive 15% off. $375+GST per person.
