Come explore the beauty of the Cranbrook area on a backcountry snowmobile. guided adventure. We have Canadian Certified Backcountry Snowmobile guides to ensure your next adventure is unforgettable, safe and professional.
We have options for all skill levels whether you are a beginner wanting an exhilarating mountain experience or a seasoned rider who wants to be led deep into the trees, we have terrain for all types.
Each group will receive a tailored experience for their own needs. Our friends at Ghostrider Motorsports can provide snowmobile rentals that are delivered to the riding area for you, so you don’t have to worry about those details.
We are happy to also arrange your accommodations if you would like that service.

The Kokanee Country Snowmobile Club has arranged to have Canada Backcountry Services come and provide mountain riding skills training and guiding for the ladies in the club.
Come learn how to get your sled on edge, how to powder carve and maneuver your snowmobile in powder or off trail. We will be riding areas within the Kokanee Country Snowmobile Club area and participants can become more familiar with their home riding area.
Friday night is a meet and greet where we will talk about sled setup, meet the crew and familiarize ourselves with safety equipment, good practices for backcountry sledding and how to have a safe and fun time in the backcountry. This part of the event will be at Darlene’s Shop at 521 Hurry Rd.
Saturday will be a day of skills development where we focus on some of the maneuvers necessary for confidently snowmobiling in off trail and deep snow applications. This part of the event will be at the Boundary Lake/Maryland area.
We plan to have a social dinner after the event at a local restaurant to get ot know the ladies in the Creston Snowmobile community.

This Avalanche Skills Training Level 1 (AST1) course will be located in Cranbrook and Kimberley. The classroom portion held on Saturday at 9am, will be at the Ghostrider Motorsports dealership in Marysville (1142 204th St, Kimberley BC).
The Field portion will be located at the Lumberton Snowmobile riding area and will begin at 9am on Sunday. Club members receive 15% off the $375.00+GST, price of the course.
You will learn how to use your avalanche equipment, understand basic avalanche formation, learn how to identify avalanche terrain, how to navigate the Avalanche Canada resources so that you will know what hazards are out there before you go, and you will learn how to create a trip plan to be better prepared for the unpredictable backcountry environment.

Join us for another Kokanee Country Snowmobile Club Avalanche Skills Training Level 1 (AST1). The classroom day will be on Saturday and located at the Creston Chamber of Commerce and the field day will be on Sunday at the Char Creek riding area. Club members receive 15% off. $375+GST per person.
